Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25, 1942) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. In the course of her nearly five-decade-long career she had amassed more than a hundred credits on her resume. Pleshette is a New York native who began her acting career on stage. Then she made her transition to film. The most viewed of her films are Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If it's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Films and TV appearances were varied as well. Pleshette was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette received two nominations and won the Laurel Award, in 1963, for a film called "The Birds.' Pleshette was killed in 2008 was given an Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
