Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best known for her work as a character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' qui te enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas since childhood, and always enjoyed dancing. She has been trained since her the age of three in many diverse types. When she was 15 years old, she was competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when, in 2008 she was a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010, she was the receptionist for Telemundo the telenovela Aurora.
