Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors as well as editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father came from a Jewish family. The actress is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal & Sunyata. When Ryder was seven, her family moved into Mendocino County California. In those days, there were no electric lights. Ryder was an avid read and often spent her time reading books as she had no television. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. When she was fifteen, she landed her very first role on the screen in Lucas. Ryder was bullied at high school. Her professional acting, she believed to help, could have helped her. But, unfortunately, that didn't take place. It didn't stop her from making plans for her future. She got her break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was a star in numerous films. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
